Latest technology has been adopted in all Wave Malls to create a better shopping experience for our retail enthusiasts. Wave Cinemas boast of superior digital projection and sound systems at each theatre that has revolutionized the viewing experience of its patrons.

Sustainability

Wave Infratech takes relevant steps to recycle and re-use waste, water and energy. It ensures eco-friendly practices at each project site that, in turn contributes to creating a healthier environment and a better lifestyle for its citizens.

Waste Management

Common area garbage bins are placed at convenient locations for customers. The garbage bins are lined with biodegradable bags. The garbage is collected from all the bins from all floors, restrooms as well as auditoriums in biodegradable (green) bags, they are then moved to the garbage room, especially located away from guest areas in the basement at -1 level. The garbage is collected by Eco Wise Waste Management Pvt. Ltd. for treatment & disposal as per the new rule in 2008 at mid-night & then the garbage room is then washed.

Water Management

Wastewater is a water that has been used and treated before it is released into another body of water, so that it does not cause further pollution. Wastewater comes from a variety of sources. Everything that you flush down your toilet or rinse down the drain is wastewater. Rainwater and runoff, along with various pollutants, go down street gutters and eventually end up at a wastewater treatment facility. Wastewater can also come from agricultural and industrial sources. Water used in the household can be treated through a wastewater treatment plant and further used for different purposes. Rainwater can be conserved through the process of rain harvesting. They are an integral part of our Environmental Management System. Water harvesting systems are available at building premises to conserve rainwater. Treated water of ETP is used for gardening and toilet flushing water.

Energy Management

Energy management includes the planning and operation of energy-related production and consumption units. Objectives are resource conservation, climate protection and cost savings, while the users have permanent access to the energy they need. It is connected closely to environmental management, production management, logistics and other established business functions. Energy management is the proactive, organized and systematic coordination of procurement, conversion, distribution and use of energy to meet the requirements, taking into account environmental and economic objectives.

Energy conservation depends mainly on efficient operation of chillers; the KW/TR should be .70. We maintain consumption at .70 KW/TR. Rescaling of condenser coil and evaporator coil is managed in order to maintain the high delta and low approach. The refrigerant level is checked on a timely basis with the help of a gas torch & soap solution. Energy consumption and efficiency of chillers also depend on cooling tower condenser water, so the water level is maintained with a ball cock valve, make up water line and operation of cooling fan is checked properly.

Secondary pumps are controlled with VFD to maintain the water requirement & conserve energy. All AHU motors are controlled with VFD to maintain the temperature requirement & conserve energy. A timely switching on and off schedule is maintained for the lighting requirement & air conditioning to conserve energy. All escalators are controlled at auto stop and autorun mode to conserve energy.
